PR Consultant / Senior PR Consultant (Financial Communications)

With offices in Frankfurt, Zurich, St Gallen and Lausanne, our team of more than 20 colleagues provides communications support across the DACH region.

As a PR Consultant or Senior PR Consultant, you will play a key role in helping our clients achieve their communications goals. You’ll have the opportunity to work across all major PR disciplines and channels, develop in-depth expertise in the industries we serve, and embrace new ideas and approaches. We’re looking for someone who thrives as part of a team while also taking ownership of their own projects.

Your responsibilities

  • Managing and developing client projects and accounts
  • For Senior Consultants: independently leading client accounts and working closely with senior management on strategy development and implementation
  • Identifying and developing editorial story ideas, with a particular focus on financial communications
  • Planning and delivering integrated communications campaigns, PR activities, media briefings and press events across multiple channels
  • Developing and managing social media activities
  • Securing media coverage and placing content with relevant publications
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with media contacts across the German-speaking markets (Germany and Austria)
  • Organising and coordinating media interviews
  • Supporting new business development through brainstorming sessions, proposal writing and client presentations

About you

  • A university degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as Business, Public Relations, Journalism, Humanities, Social Sciences or Linguistics
  • At least 3–5 years‘ experience in PR or corporate communications (Consultant level), or 5+ years for Senior Consultant level, ideally specialising in financial communications
  • Native-level German and excellent written and spoken English
  • Essential: a genuine interest in finance, business and economic topics, as well as an affinity for technology and AI
  • Desirable: experience using social media management tools
  • A personable blend of professionalism, openness and collaborative spirit
  • A creative mindset with the confidence to contribute fresh ideas and perspectives
